Bringing God's story to life by making missional disciples.
We gather on Sunday mornings to celebrate the gospel, to reorient our hearts around the person and work of Jesus, and to encourage one another. Through song and prayer, our liturgy helps us recount the story of God’s glory, our guilt, God’s grace, and our gratitude. We also celebrate Baptisms and the Lord’s Supper at worship gatherings.

Gabe deGarmeaux is the founding and lead pastor of King’s Community Church. Before moving to New Braunfels, Gabe has served in pastoral ministry since 2009 in roles overseeing local and global outreach and small group ministries, helping equip churches to make disciples and live missionally. He received his M.A. in Cross-cultural Ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary. Gabe is married to Monica, and they have three children: Lilly and Rocco at home, and Deacon who the family is excited to see again in heaven.
During his free time, Gabe enjoys dating his wife, being involved in his kids’ activities, and spending time with people around a dinner table. His passion for church planting comes from seeing the gap between the way the world is and the way God intended it to be. His heart is to equip the church to follow Jesus by stepping into the gap.
Executive Director of Ministries
Serving as the Executive Director of Ministries, it’s Mackenzie’s mission to equip and develop the ministries of the church to bring God’s story to life by making missional disciples. Being a servant-leader and helper to her core (hello, Enneagram 2!), she’s passionate about serving God and people. In addition, Mackenzie loves to organize, create systems, and find ways to help the people of King’s Community Church become more efficient and effective ministers.
When Mackenzie isn’t working, you can probably find her baking, playing board games with friends, or watching movies with her movie-buff husband, Patrick.
