We believe God’s love is generous, so we’re intentional about showing and sharing God’s generous love with our church community and neighbors. We do this collectively through our Community Partners and our Here For Good team, and we encourage showing and telling others about the generous love of God displayed in Jesus Christ in our everyday lives.

Current Opportunities to Serve
First Footing Meal Delivery
There is an urgent need for meals at First Footing. Our friends at UBP Burgers will partner with us to provide meals every Monday and Friday between Monday December 1st and Monday January 2nd. We need people to sign up to pick up the meals at the UBP food truck located on Elliot Knox at 4:30pm and deliver to First Footing located on Loop 337. Please sign up by clicking the box below.
First Footing Bed Assembly
Our friends at First Footing need help assembling beds on December 11th and 12th. They will be adding 24 more beds for adults who are experiencing homelessness. This will increase the bed capacity to 66, not including inclement weather shelter days. Last year nearly 500 people sought shelter and the waiting list was as high as 90 people, so the added beds will help them better serve the community need.
Help is needed on the weekdays of Thursday 12/11/25 and Friday 12/12/25 from 8am-12pm and 1-5pm both days. They will need about 10 people for each time slot. Below is the Sign Up link with slots and instructions.
First Footing Meal & Christmas Carols – December 17, 2025 at 4:30pm
Let’s come together with our neighbors and spread a little Christmas cheer—complete with enchiladas and classic carols! Kids are always welcome, and this month is an especially great opportunity for them to join in as we sing Christmas songs with our friends at First Footing. Sign up by clicking the link below!
