Who We Are — King's Community Church

We are

Unfinished

At King’s Community, you will find we are a group of unfinished people, devoted to Jesus, learning to love what God loves, learning to do the kinds of work Jesus does, in community with others. We long to be here for good, existing not only or ourselves, but also for our neighborhood and for the city. Our mission, vision, and values offer a glimpse into what is important to us and where we, as a community, have been called to go. We would love for you to join us!

Mission

Bringing God's story to life

Our mission is to bring God’s story to life so that we can see lives redeemed, families transformed, communities blessed and more churches planted.

Values

We Are Story-Formed

We Build Tables Not Fences

We Tend the Whole Garden

We Plant Beauty in Broken Places

We believe Jesus changes everything for us. We remember and celebrate who God is and what God is doing among us. The story of God, as told in the Bible, reveals the missional record of who God is and what God is doing in, through, and for the world. It is the true story of the whole world. Discipleship is participating in that story and allowing it to shape your entire life. We slow down to notice grace at work, because gratitude fuels faith and testimony builds hope for what God will do next.

We believe everyone is welcome at the table of grace. We are all unfinished people, being shaped by Jesus, and we make space for others who are curious, seeking, or returning to faith. Instead of drawing lines that exclude, we extend invitations that reflect the hospitality of Christ — who welcomed sinners, doubters, and outsiders and formed them through love.

We pursue whole-life health — spiritual, emotional, relational, and physical. Following Jesus shapes every part of who we are, not just what we believe. Like a well-tended garden, growth requires intention, patience, and care. We commit to practices and rhythms that lead to wholeness, maturity, and lasting fruit.

God is in the work of restoration, and He invites His people to join Him. Where there is pain, injustice, or despair, we seek to bring hope, healing, and beauty through love and service. We believe God can redeem what is broken and make something beautiful where there once was loss.

King's Kids

King's Kids is a Gospel-centered environment that focuses on bringing God's story to life in an age-appropriate way for children from birth through 5th grade. We use The Biggest Story Curriculum to draw kids into Scripture and help them grasp its overarching message of redemption, from the garden of Eden to the return of Christ. Our desire is to bring God’s story to life through worship, Bible stories, games, and crafts to foster a love of God’s Word in the hearts of our children.
